Farmind mergers with the subsidiary JWM Asia Japan

Farmind Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tatsuo Horiuchi; hereinafter "Farmind"), a comprehensive fruits and vegetables marketer with a nationwide cold chains, is pleased to announce that on April 1, 2021, Farmind merged with JWM Asia Japan Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Noel Francis Shield, hereinafter "JWM Asia Japan"), a 100% owned subsidiary.

1. Purpose:
JWM Asia Japan mainly imports and sells citrus fruits and grapes as a 100% subsidiary since January 2020. Through this merger, Farmind will aim to further strengthen its sales structure and improve its operational efficiency.
2. Merger type:
Farmind was merged into the surviving company, and JWM Asia Japan was merged into the absorbed company.
3. Effective date:
April 1, 2021
