Privacy Policy

Considering the importance of protecting personal information in conducting import, export, processing and sales of fresh produce and flowers, operation of fresh produce centers, system development in the field of fresh produce, matching site operation, and consulting work in food-related businesses, Farmind Corporation has established and implemented the following Privacy Policy to regulate its working and systems environment such as to ensure its ability to maintain customers’ trust into the future.

Farmind Corporation is governed by a Code of Conduct with the following requirements:

Conduct compatible with the Corporate Vision, etc.

The Code is not limited to legal compliance but extends to ethical compliance as well.
Thus, it represents a code of ethics comprising values that are shared mutually by all relevant parties, including the Company, its shareholders and society at large.

Application of the Code of Conduct

In obtaining personal information, the Company clarifies its purposes of use beforehand and does not use it for other purposes. Also, we do not use or provide consigned information for purposes outside the scope of customer consent.

Fully aware of the risks of leakage, loss or damage of personal information in its possession, the Company takes appropriate preventive and remedial measures.

３．

The Company observes laws and regulations related to the protection of personal information, governmental guidelines and other rules.

４．

The Company periodically reviews its management systems related to protection of personal information and upgrades them on an ongoing basis to ensure their effective implementation.

５．

The Company responds to complaints and requests for consultation related to personal information.

In compliance with this code of ethics, the Company’s policy with respect to the upcoming establishment and enforcement of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information can be stated as follows:

Checking of the implementation status and development of a system of disciplinary rules in case of violations

Handling of Personal Information

Personal information handled by the Company is used for the following purposes:

Personal information obtained directly from individuals in writing (including that obtained via the home page and Website).

We gather information after clearly stating our intent in writing and obtaining consent from the individual concerned.

Personal information obtained by means other than those stated in (1) above

Personal information such as curriculum vitae and résumés of employment history obtained from applicants for employment is used in our hiring process.

Personal information such as curriculum vitae and résumés of employment history submitted by personnel agencies on behalf of job applicants is used in our hiring process.

Personal information submitted by individuals who contact the Company’s Contact Center is used to address the matter at hand.

Personal information obtained in commissioning product shipments is used for shipment of the products concerned.

In cases in which personal information concerning growers of fresh produce sold by the Company (farm name, address, telephone number, facsimile number, photos, etc.) is provided directly by producer organizations, the personal information is used for sales promotion purposes as well as in making proposals to mass retailers.

The information will be used to perform the commissioned tasks.
