One of our efforts is Fama-mura Strawberry Farm Corporation, an indoor cultivation facility of strawberry which was established in Mibu Town, Tochigi Prefecture in Aug,2020. For further development, we are starting a 2ha farm for strawberry in Inashiki city, Ibaraki Prefecture aiming for December 2025 harvest. We hope to realize sustainable agriculture through highly efficient production in this new farm.

●Perfect balance of sweetness and acidity and juiciness of “Royal Queen” premium strawberries

We are producing the “Royal Queen”, a rare variety of strawberries which was developed by engineers who produced Nyohou Strawberry. You can enjoy the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity for full season. Otherwise the rich aroma and juicy bright red pulp is very attractive for customers. We will also produce other varieties for different needs of consumers in order to enrich our product lineup.

●Development of various products for reducing food loss

We also produce some processed goods such as strawberry source, refrigeration strawberry to reduce food loss. Strawberry source can let us taste the ingredients with a high fruit content of 63% and low sugar content.Refrigeration strawberry which fresh raw strawberries are quickly frozen by liquid freezing can retain its freshness and high quality.

●Aiming at sustainable agriculture by high efficiency and large scale

We try to increase production per unit in order to improve the management efficiency by using three-dimensional planting which can use space more efficiently. Otherwise we use solar heating system to conserve energy and control the environment inside of the plant house to keep our high quality and reduce workload.

1）Local hot water heating: Heat around the plant root to converse energy and increase heating efficiency.

2）Automatic curtain: Automatically opens and closes depending on the sunlight and temperature to control the environment friendly to both human and strawberry.

3）Carbon dioxide application: Promotes photosynthesis to stabilize strawberry productivity and improve quality.

4）Agricultural chemicals reduction facility: Safe and secure strawberry production with fewer pests entering the greenhouses and fewer pesticide applications.

5）Automatic nutrient irrigation: Automatically irrigation depend on sunlight and circulating liquid hydroponics with low environmental impact.

6）Integrated environment control: Integration of all control devices to create an optimal growing environment for strawberries.
