Tatsuo Horiuchi, President and CEO of Farmind Corporation (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, hereafter "Farmind"), was awarded the "Impact Award" at the Asia Fruit Awards 2023.
The Asia Fruit Awards are presented by Asia Fruit Logistica, Asia's premier fruit and vegetable business trade fair, and Asiafruit Magazine, the leading publisher of news and information for the fresh fruit and vegetable industry throughout Asia. The annual pan-Asia awards recognize individuals and organizations that have brought remarkable achievements to the fruit and vegetable industry in Asia.
President Horiuchi won this year's Impact Award in recognition of the fact that over 40 years of continuous innovation in Japanese fruit and vegetable distribution, he has made a significant contribution to the development of the Asian fruit and vegetable market. Detailed reasons for the award are as follows.

On September 6-8, Asia Fruit Logistica was held at Asia World-Expo in Hong Kong and the award ceremony was held on September 7.
In the ceremony, Horiuchi commented: “I am honored to receive this prestigious award and deeply grateful that Farmind’s efforts are so highly regarded. Farmind is committed to contributing to the development of the global fruit and vegetable industry in Asia as well as in Japan by continuing to strengthen and expand our comprehensive platform.”
Based on Farmind’s corporate philosophy of "linking farmers with consumers", Farmind will continue to strengthen the supply system of fruits and vegetables in Japan and overseas and improve the quality through its nationwide cold chains, deliver fresh and delicious fruits and vegetables from farms to consumers, and contribute to the development of domestic and overseas fruit and vegetable distribution from various perspectives.
