On July 19th (Wed), Farmind Ibaraki Farm Corporation (hereafter "Farmind Ibaraki Farm") signed a 'Collaborative Agreement on Educational Support' with Kasumigaura City and the Kasumigaura City Board of Education at the Kasumigaura City, aiming to promote local school education, social education, and lifelong learning.
Farmind Ibaraki Farm is a subsidiary of Farmind Corporation (Headquarter: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tatsuo Horiuchi; hereafter "Farmind"), establishing a nationwide comprehensive fruits and vegetables cold chain network, it specializes in large-scale production of Japanese pears using advanced cultivation methods in Kasumigaura City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
With the signing of this agreement, Farmind Ibaraki Farm intends to provide opportunities for children to experience the region's appeal and deepen their awareness and understanding of the "agricultural" profession through activities such as farm tours, workplace experiences, and lectures at schools.
As a company committed to achieving "sustainable agriculture" for the future generations, Farmind Ibaraki Farm will continue to engage in community support activities and contribute to the revitalization of local area.
